HARRISON COLLEGE
Parent-Teacher Association
We are committed to working with the Secretary-Treasurer's Office, the Board and the Staff to enhance and better equip the school's campus. The ideas for these projects are as a result of exhibited need, as well as parents' and teachers' suggestions. They are facilitated through our fundraising drives, our PTA dues and timely donations by parents, alumni and corporate Barbados.
GREENING
Our aim is to make Harrison College an environmentally sustainable campus through

. Strategic placement of Outdoor Benches and Plants
FANS
The days are getting hotter and many of our classrooms do not benefit from cooling breezes so, in order to ensure that our students can concentrate we intend to install more fans this year. We have already completed the 2nd form, 3rd form and music classroom blocks. Thanks to Hothersal Trading for discounting the price of the fans.
DONATIONS
Donations to several school clubs, teams and initiatives.
BATHROOM SUPPLIES
Provision of bathroom supplies.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
Celebration of World Teachers' Day and Fifth Form Farewell.
Past successful projects. We are grateful to the volunteers and donors who made these projects possible.
WHITEBOARDS
Replacement of the allergy-inducing old fashioned chalkboards with Dry Erase Boards and Markers in all junior and senior classrooms.
WATER COOLERS
Installation of water coolers in the Canteen, the Pavilion and the 1st form classroom block.
CRICKET PITCH
Construction of concrete cricket pitch. Thanks to Andrew Maynard, CO Williams Construction, Barbados Lumber Company and Moorjani Construction for donating and discounting the price of the materials.
PIANOS
Refurbishment and maintenance of the school's pianos.
MARCHING BAND
Presentation of new uniforms to the HC marching band on the occasion of the 285th anniversary of the founding of the school.
PAVED ENTRANCE
We paved the entrance to the parking lawn area to prevent erosion. Thanks to CO Williams Construction.
WiFi CAMPUS
Free WiFi was facilitated throughout the Kolij campus. Thanks to the Aron and Cristina Truss Foundation and PromoTech.
